Child Care Voucher Utilization for All Children

Families eligible for vouchers are either receiving mandated vouchers for families on Cash Assistance from the Human Resources Administration (HRA) or have an ACS-issued voucher (including non-mandated low-income vouchers and child welfare vouchers). Vouchers act like an electronic coupon that a family can take to any child care provider they choose: center-based, licensed family child care, or unlicensed informal care (family, friend or neighbor). Vouchers can be used for children ages six weeks to 13 years old.
