Children in Child Abuse and Neglect Investigations

Children involved in investigations of abuse or neglect by community district of residence. The number of children is the sum of children in investigations during the year, such that there are duplicate counts for children involved in more than one investigation during the year. Rates refer to the number of children in investigations of abuse or neglect per 1,000 children under 18 years.
