College Persistence
The college persistence rate shows the percentage of students in the six-year cohort who graduated, enrolled, and persisted in college through the beginning of their third semester, within six years of starting high school. To count as having persisted, a student must have enrolled in college for three consecutive semesters. For the 2019-20 data, this metric evaluates students who first entered high school during the 2014-15 school year / “Class of 2018”.
