Reading Test Scores (3rd through 8th Grades)

Number and Percent Passing refer to third through eighth graders who performed at or above grade level (scoring at level 3 or 4) on New York State standardized reading tests. Mean Score is the average score for the geography and/or breakdown selected. Percent Testing is the share of students who took the test in 2021, which was made optional to students amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
