Student Discipline

Data for total student discipline include: principal suspensions, lasting 1 to 5 days; superintendent suspensions, which exceed 5 days; and removals of students from the classroom by a teacher. Rates refer to the number of disciplinary actions per 1,000 students enrolled in the corresponding school year.
