Chronic Absenteeism

Students are considered chronically absent if they have an attendance rate less than 90 percent (i.e. students who are absent 10 percent or more of the total days). In order to be included in chronic absenteeism calculations, students must be enrolled for at least 20 days (regardless of whether present or absent).
